Yes an unarmed 13 year old can pull a trigger.

I wonder how the now green-lawned pig's day is going so far. Hope he's having a splendid afternoon.

Only problem is that he missed.
Punk kids and his friends harassing the cop.
Take them while they are young so we don't have to deal with lifetime of their thug life.
Now the family is suing the cop. Something wrong with this picture.

Hahahaha.... Good for the family. Hopefully the other children who were there will do the same. This mentally unstable pig needs to be put in his place.
Hope his "brave" actions costs him lots of money, his job, his house, and hopefully his freedom.
Those of you who disagree with the officer's actions please post your addresses so that I can come repeatedly vandalize your property with full knowledge that you would never be so mean as to do anything in response.

I posted a page ago with an assessment that basically came down to "everyone involved screwed up" and the polarity of opinions on this thread seems really misguided. I think both sides in this were pretty clearly idiots.
The kid's friend should have got off the guy's lawn when she got yelled at and the kid should not have yelled anything back at the guy. Especially not something that could be construed as a felony level threat.
The cop fired a "warning shot" (or more likely fired an accidental shot--he's holding the gun with his non-dominant hand) when not under threat of severe physical harm (he's still holding onto the kid and everyone takes at least a step back after he draws the gun--if he felt seriously threatened he would have let go of the kid and drawn the gun with his dominant hand). So that's probably felony level negligent discharge of a firearm.

Thanks for an all-time stupid post.
Good job!

If a shot is fired in self defense, it could be a valid defense against charges of negligent discharge of a firearm. Thus, if a person reasonably believes they are about to be attacked or killed, he can legally fire a "warning shot."
The kids would have been justified to shoot and kill the pig, who was dragging the boy by the neck.

Were you there? Trumpvestites like you automatically believe the cop no matter the circumstances. Pig: Get off my grass......Kid: I'll shoot you. Does that make any fvcking sense to you? We are talking about a tiny 13 year old. If pulling out a gun and shooting is a reasonable reaction to you... then you my friend are a complete and total a$$hole!!!!!!
Two things are faster than you: Me, and the bullets in the gun I carry. Why don't you shut your yap, go back to your room in mom and dad's basement and whack off to some more animal porn. Any kid threatens to shoot me he's gonna be looking at the business end of my off duty weapon as well.
This isn't a cop problem, it's a parenting problem - and in the big cities when kids threaten to shoot somebody there's a damn good chance they're carrying the hardware to back it up. Now go work on breaking 18 in your next 5k. Better luck with your next democrat candidate.
Hahaha..... Big, tough, pig using threatening words. If you need a weapon to take down a thirteen year old girl, you're more of a coward than I thought. And based on your worthless profession, you're a pretty big coward.
Now go polish your captain's knob, you mindless drone.

A person who knows where you live can become armed and pull a trigger any time they want. Anyway, the homeowner did not appear to be wearing X-ray specs, so he presumably did not know that he was being lied to.

You consider stepping on a lawn by a thirteen year old as vandalism worth discharging a weapon over?
What type of grass do you have.....gold bullion?
I don't welcome people walking on my lawn either, but I wouldn't shoot them over it......

The homeowner and the neighbors explained that these men and women had been repeatedly congregating and causing damage. This was an ongoing thing that the guy finally got fed up with and responded to.
The fact that you wouldn't shoot them over it makes you just like the homeowner, who also did not shoot them over it.

First off, they weren't "men and women," they were CHILDREN. Thirteen year old girls and boys. Big difference......especially to someone in law enforcement, who is supposed to be trained to handle stressful situations.
If children walking on his lawn enrages him enough to draw and fire his weapon, I wonder how much angrier he would have to get to actually shoot and kill someone for the dreadful act of stepping on his grass.

I would call the police just as this idiot should have done. He was clearly incapable of handling the situation.
Typical elitist cop response. I'd like to get you alone without your gun or badge and grind your face into the ground.
Go raise the pig suicide rate up a notch, champ.
