Facts not in evidence...merely the assertion of the police.
Anaheim police said a 13-year-old boy allegedly threatened to shoot the officer, who then attempted to detain the boy until police arrived, sparking a physical confrontation. But the boy's mother disputes that -- saying her son said he was going to sue, not shoot, the officer.
This explanation doesn't make any sense. At that point in the sequence of events, what was he planning to sue the homeowner for? Nothing had happened yet.
Huh? How do you know what had happened before the kid said either I am going to sue you, or I am going to shoot you? Sounds like you are just making things up to bolster your argument.
Back to that old arguing facts not in evidence once again.
In any event, I don't think I would shoot an unarmed kid threatening to shoot me if that was what was in fact said.
Unless the kid pulled a gun which clearly did not happen here seeing as how he did not have one.
Can't believe you are defending this behavior.
Here's my guess based on decades of experience. The kids were cutting through the yard and, when confronted by the understandably pissed homeowner, did not show respect but instead dissed him. And dissing a cop is like dissing a gangster -- both are very thin skinned and cannot deal with anyone not giving them respect. And so he shoots the kid.
