[You sound like a bigot & racist]
I feel judging fat people is not much better than being a bigot or racist. We don't know each person's story--injury, depression, illness, some heartbreaking situation that keeps them from exercising, the unfortunate ignorance of good nutrition, who knows? Sure, some are just lazy gluttons--but who am I to judge them? I'm sure they may excel in many qualities that others might lack, like compassion, kindness, humility, and grace.
I'm looking forward to the Walmart shopper getting absolutely punished by Trump's broken crackpot trade theories.
More Ebt shoppers for Walmart.
Will the Walmart shopper blame Trump for their misery?

It is interesting how Walmart has gotten through Trump's MAGA populism unscathed. Walmart has been responsible for hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs leaving the US for China because of the way Walmart strong arms their suppliers into massive wholesale price concessions in exchange for volume.
Also, Walmart has been responsible for internal job displacement and loss of revenue for rural areas. It used to be that small towns had a couple of different grocers, pharmacies, furniture/appliance stores and clothing stores in their downtowns. Walmart came along and killed off those businesses, often by viciously undercutting them on prices only to raise prices when main street closed up shop.
But Trump has never called out Walmart. I guess his MAGA hats sell well at Walmart. But ignoring Walmart's role in the destruction of rural America is really disingenuous.

Serious question. Where do people who don't go to wal-mart get things like charcoal, light bulbs, toiletries? Target? That stuff is so cheap at Wal-mart that it's worth dealing with any added stress.
This isn't actually true. My wife and I went to Wal Mart the other day to look for snow sleds and she noticed that you save 20-30 cents on these everyday items compared to Target. She's more high class than me so the trashiness gets to her. I personally don't care because I'm contributing to income inequality so I can't complain.
Ironically she was an illegal immigrant at one point in her life so I would think she would have more compassion for the Mexicans. But I guess not. We later found out that there is not a Wal Mart in the poor city next to the one we leave in so this explains the trashiness. But I argued that it's less cost effective for them to drive 30 miles ($10+ in gas) to save 30 cents...
But hey there's a reason the poor stay poor.

Pics??
People are getting trolled so hard right here.
Seriously though, I won't shop at walmart because of how they treat their employees. Walmart's existence is proof that Americans care much more about having things cheap than they care about their fellow Americans having good jobs.
Walmart only exists because they pay their employees peanuts and treat them like capital, and use their scale to undercut all competition and put small businesses out of business. If you care about employing Americans with good wages, stop being selfish and don't shop at Walmart. Too many people sit around waiting for the government to fix the economy and get their jobs for them but they wouldn't have to if consumers weren't so mindless.
Obviously you have never been to college.

Obviously. When I went to college I shopped at the places within about one mile of campus, those that I could walk to or take the campus bus service... aka not Wally World. Obviously!

Walmart is the place to go when you need a specific replacement bulb, inner tube, broom, shovel, bag of salt, beach chair, cooler ... and you know you're getting a decent price and aren't getting dicked-over.
the problem is that people rely on walmart for buying food. that is just wrong. damn stores don't sell a single fruit.

You just received an education to understand of who voted for Trump.
Trumpmart services a certain type of consumer in America than you outline in your post. Under the surface their beliefs are being spelled out today in Trumps campaign promises.
Just when you thought America is maybe progressing, its now been given an opportunity to expose its hidden foul underbelly.

You either don't know what "walmart" is or "fruit" is.
85% of all the food sold in Walmart contains high quantities of HFCS - High Fructose Corn Syrup therefore if your'e buying your groceries from them your going to be ingesting large quantities of this $hit -
"These concerns came to the public's attention through media attention to a 2004 commentary in 'The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition' that suggested that the altered metabolism of fructose when compared to glucose may be a factor in increasing obesity rates since, as compared to glucose, fructose may be more readily converted to fat and the sugar causes less of a rise in insulin and leptin, both of which increase feelings of satiety."
There are also other related health risks such as the ingestion of 'mercury' which is by-product in the process when making HFCS. The more you eat, the fatter you'll get - thus more diseases, heart attacks, diabetes, etc... If you do shop there, stay away from the prepackaged food or you'll become another statistic of "Deathmart".
Have you ever been inside a Wal Mart with a grocery store, the produce is literally the first thing you see when you go through the door.somebloke wrote:

This thread sounds like a bunch of people who have never been in a Wal Mart, or have known someone who has worked in a Wal Mart, talking about everything they've "learned" about Wal Mart by reading the Daily Kos.
It still amazes me that even the most simple trolling flies over most people's heads on this site
