Biden was not a good candidate and the perception of him as being old and feeble gave Trump a chance of winning. Trump wouldn't have had a prayer against the 2008 Obama.
The pool of the 2020 Democrat candidates was weak, but Klobuchar would have been a better choice as being the one with the best chance of beating Trump.
I think that Biden was a fine candidate. A moderate Democrat and apparently fairly decent human being. Would it have been better if he was 10 or 20 years younger? Probably (And is that "right,"? No). And in a decent country that would have been more than enough to completely destroy Trump. And yet, 47%....
