Well, what about Trump's presidency makes people in Ohio and Florida that voted for Obama then Trump make them want to stick with Trump over Biden?
Oabama won those states twice.
Trump had an effective anti Hillary campaign in 2016 with them.
He can't run that campaign now. He can't run on what his presidency would look like.
They vote on what his presidency now has been and what they think of Biden.
What you are saying there is logical. Unfortunately, the Trump cult is not logical. Granted, this is anecdotal, but I know several Trumpers in Ohio, and not only have none of them decided they need to vote for Biden, they are as strong for Trump as ever if not more. Now, I do recognize that there are many who have switched, but the cult is strong with many.
I see Florida going for Biden more than Ohio. Either would be nice. I hope it's both.
Meet your next Supreme Court Justice babe. She is not the hottest but not too shabby. Welcome to Amy! I think she is very well qualified and will do a great job!

Hey Agip, Flagpole, others...Now that Trump has told us how he's going to steal the election, is there really anything we can do stop him?
Just have to vote. We really don't have much other recourse. If he does try to do something completely illegal, we need to wipe the floor with him afterwards (legally) so that no other person feels he or she can get away with that type of behavior in our country.
Did any of those Ohio Trumpers vote for Obama before? How did Obama win there?
Any chance a dislike of Hillary hurt her there last time?
I see many big Trump signs in Maryland right between Baltimore and DC.
I saw someone with a decal of Trump peeing on the word “liberals”.
Trump ain’t winning Maryland despite how worked up these Trumpers are.

That's a good question, and of the Trumpers I know, no, none of them voted for Obama either time. I do see how the polling is pretty strong in Ohio for Biden, so I hope that holds true. There were definitely a lot of people in Ohio who didn't vote for Hillary (many for Stein) because they didn't like her. Trump has a tough road ahead for many reasons, but no strong third party candidates and a changed demographic alone is enough for a Biden win...there are many other things though that point to a Biden win. Hopefully there isn't illegal activity on Trump's part that goes undetected. That's the only way he can win.
I believe four years ago Hillary was leading in the polls in Ohio in the summer and in September.
Then Trump’s numbers gained as the election got closer.
Ohio is a total wildcard and can’t seem to be predicted easily.
I hope Trump supporters aren’t checking that box as an easy win.

On 9/25/16, Trump was leading Clinton by 2.2 in Ohio, according to the RCP polling average. Clinton had led through the spring and summer but Trump overtook her in mid-September. Clinton then bounced back and retook the polling lead for about a week in early/mid-October (due to the Access Hollywood tape?), but Trump passed her again in mid-October and ended up taking Ohio on Election Day by about 8 points.
The last RCP polling average before the 2016 election had Trump up by 2.2 points in Ohio, so he was actually 6 points better in Ohio than the polls indicated.
Today, Biden leads in Ohio in the RCP polling average by 3.3 (49.0 - 45.7).
Obama won Ohio by 4.6 and 3.0.
Another packed Trump rally- even in deep blue VA. Is it in play?

Y'know, I keep remembering when Romney and Ryan, just about this time of year, were certain that they were going to defeat Obama and Biden--because the R&R rallies were so large and enthusiastic!
Instead they got spanked.

Many of the same people keep showing up at different rally locations. Trump has certain supporters who go to as many of his rallies as they can get to. The numbers are not what they seem.
From the Trump appointed judge:
From Vyskocil’s opinion:
[In] the context of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the Court finds that Mr. Carlson’s invocation of “extortion” against Ms. McDougal is nonactionable hyperbole, intended to frame the debate in the guest commentator segment that followed Mr. Carlson’s soliloquy. As Defendant notes, Mr. Carlson himself aims to “challenge political correctness and media bias.” This “general tenor” of the show should then inform a viewer that he is not “stating actual facts” about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in “exaggeration” and “non-literal commentary.” … Given Mr. Carlson’s reputation, any reasonable viewer ‘arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism’ …

I agree that Ohio is a wildcard.

No, Biff, it is not in play. Are you even serious? Well, of course you are, because you are a moron.
Biden wins if he is breathing.
Enjoy your loss.

Many people who voted for Obama stayed home in 2016.
Many people who stayed home in 2008 and 2012 voted for Trump.
Swing states swing because a small change in turnout by either side changes the outcome.
There are actually very few "swing voters" who vote for different parties in each election.

I’d have to see Florida get blown out in Biden’s favor before I believe Ohio will flip. I just think there aren’t as many swing votes there and trumpers aren’t gonna stop trumping. But I too can hope.
