How nice is everyone's house if they are all making 6 figures? I knew runners were smart and hardworking but all of these household incomes are way higher than the averages in even some of the nicest towns in America. Just doing some quick math if you are pulling in $500K (have seen multiple households claiming this on the thread) do you live in like a $3M place?
I posted earlier. Household income is 674k a year, the value of my house is approximately 550k, paid mortgage. Cars are my passion so I spend a lot on them but have also made a lot of money selling them. Will buy high range cars, wait for the value to rise and sell on. My job is a golf course shaper, I drive a dozer basically but it is a highly specialized area of machinery operation with long days and punishing deadlines on multi-million dollar projects.
This job supplied the bulk of my wealth and enabled me to be able pursue my passion in exotic cars and once I realized there was potential to make money from gambling on the appreciation value of certain models, my hobby quickly turned into a substantial topup to my yearly earnings which required very little work. I am away from home a lot so having a 3 million dollar mansion for 2 people does not make sense to us. Outside of cars, we do not live a lavish lifestyle.
