It's definitely blocked when I go there with my U.S. IP.

Luckily I have a great IP cloak that I recommend so I can watch "from" many other countries. Seriously, get Zen Mate.

Also, I pay a measly $16/month for FloPro so I can watch it on my computer or AppleTV on the big screen.

Flotrack is monetizing their site in an honest mode, by having you pay for viewing an event.

No problem with that.

LRC monetizes their site by creating granfaloons;

Click bait posts designed to lure folks to bump their monthly average users to advertisers, or 'surveys' which are designed to further pull your demographic data...

Wasn't there a 'shoe survey' they pushed out once.

I don't care if they want to charge me, but pulling this at the last minute is BS. That's all the complaining I'll do but they can forget ever seeing a dime from me.

I payed the 20$ for flotrack pro because it is the right thing to do, are you guys really that poor that you cant fork over 20$ for a month sub. LOL!

During the late 70's and 80's the US auto industry was tanking. Most of the loss was to Japanese automakers. The cars cost less, got better mileage and most important were more reliable(better built). What the us automaker lost over time was loyalty. The last few years the word on the street has been that quality is on par with the cars from Asia. That's great and some people have returned to the US automakers, but, many haven't and never will return. During the he previously mentioned time frame they lost customers for life, as well as many of the offspring to this day.

What does this have to do with f**track? Many previous posts have already been negative towards f**rack. THIS DOES NOT HELP TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS. Some people have memories and will remember this and other disses to the running community, even if they improve their "product". Whether it's VPN's, illegal streams, refreshing play by play threads of someone who is streaming it AND is a benevolent gentleman, we will get what we want. F**track's model doesn't fit in for many of us. Either they need to change or we will find someone else or something else will emerge. Ask Ford, GM and Chrysler and RIP(AMC) if they would change if they had to do it over again.

My issue with Flotrack is twofold:

1.) They don't have the quality to justify the cost. Their coverage is reliably terrible- both in video quality and in commentary. It is amateur. Learn to pronounce pro runners' names.

2.) They DON'T have enough events to justify the price.

So, now that many of USATF.tv's coverage is only on Plus, this means that I'm paying $20 to Flo for the maybe 2 things they show in a month that I want to see, $13 to PLUS for another two events, paying $10 to Sling whatever entity shows Diamond League this year, borrowing logins to stream the NBCSN and ESPN, etc. I get that it's a privilege just to be able to watch this stuff, but this is why I laugh when people talk about making track appeal to a mainstream audience. No non-track nerd is going to work this hard to watch strangers run.

Guess that's why the most popular vehicle in the world is the f150.

This is outrageous. I was looking forward to this. I've watched the last two.

I will never purchase their service because it was advertised for free, and no longer at the last minute.

Exactly what I think. It's the last minute aspect that is unfair to fans.

If I sign up for flo track 1 year membership. Then cancel next week. Is that possible and am I charged $12.50 (the per-month payment if signing for a year) or am I charged a non-refundable $150, for the year, up front when I sign up?

Guess I'm not watching it. Not worth $20.00 to me. I would pay $5.00 on demand to watch it.

I am close to paying $20, but if I do I know it will be free on YouTube tomorrow (early morning for a couple yrs at least) and I'll feel ripped off.

Agreed. Pay per view would be much more doable. I would probably watch five to ten events a year on Flotrack for $5-$7 each and they would have that income from me instead of the $0.00 I am willing to pay for a subscription I wouldn't use often enough.

Ah, well. I guess they've run the numbers and don't need my money.

I have a subscription, but the way they pulled this crap on everyone last minute is absolute BS. This better be one helluva glitch free broadcast or I'm out.
