Im a dude. 5'11(although i tell girls im 6'1.) I weigh about 143-47. Problem is I look chunky. Like skinny arms and legs but a chubby belly. I think I could benefit from losing it. I ran 4:32 for the mile in highschool and now run about 4:27.

It's called skinny fat.
IDK your age but if you're already consuming a balanced diet and performing weightlifting with compound movements (pull-ups, squats, deads, bench, military, anything multi-joint etc), then consider checking T levels or any other biochemical limitation. Best of luck.
You might just have bad posture. Look up "anterior pelvic tilt"
What benefit do you get from lying about your height? Do you think girls can't tell how tall you are?
Like the guys doing 100 pushups, how accurate is your 4:27 mile? Was it in a road race? How did they time it? Was the course accurate? Did you run the correct number of laps?
The weight that's right for your 5'11" frame might be 130. So you might need to work down to that to improve as a runner. If that's not important, then start weight training like the previous poster suggested. You can still run fast at 5'11" 150-160 or so but you want it to be muscle.
But lying will get you no where in the long term.
4:27 - Last race i ran. It was on a track, sorry i forgot the last 9 meters. I lie about my height because girls like taller guys
I can only do 2 pull ups and dont weight train since its not really my thing
interesting never heard of this let me chek it out
