GF does not think she is pretty enough

Isn't the scale you should focus on is the do you love her scale?

As you said, you love her. With this she must be attractive to you. Isn't this what matters and not whether she jives with some sort of societal norm. Do you love her more that the prior 3?

Is she attractive enough that you have lust for her? That's all that matters, who cares what anyone else thinks. If not, could lead to problems down the road.

There are always more attractive women. Every woman will always be "only" pretty enough if you fall into that trap.

If you love her and are physically attracted to her and vice versa, you two have a match.

It isnt like you keep asking her if she minds that your penis is smaller than her past boyfriends. If she can overlook that, you can overlook... her looks.

She's toast, because she helped him come to terms that she could be more attractive.

Exactly. Women NEVER make little tests like this. Not once has this ever happened. If your many experiences with women doing exactly this cause you to disagree, then you must be a woman-hater!

Even the hottest woman becomes ordinary after a year or so. The only difference between a stunner and a decent looking woman is the proud feeling you get when you enter a room and everybody turns around looking at her.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Once you understand that women aren't logical and realize how they REALLY think, your relationships will improve. You'll be happier and so will she.

Could his question be better asked as:: How important should looks be when I look for a potential partner?

Clearly he finds this current gf pretty enough for him.

I think he is wondering how important physical looks are to him.

Could it be he is thinking about lowering his idea of how pretty a girl needs to be to get to that pretty enough standard he has.

If she settled for you, then clearly she can't be very attractive
