I want to see an interview with several coaches (including Salazar) who coach 10,000m runners & marathon runners currently. In the interview, only talk about their ideas on training.

guys these changes obviously won't happen, just like Trump's promises.
Lol. I know. Right?

The real gems are those "cute girl in the coffee shop studying MCAT" threads.
This is very flattering, thank you. Not sure if you were with me or against me but either way, thank you. I remember like it was yesterday. Literally just a few weeks before I met with the girl I just stopped dating. Summer in the air, cracking away on some cover letters and sipping from my iced coffee when woah. We hung out a few times but it eventually fizzled out. For all the times I chickened out in college I had some guts that day.
You've got to figure out how to truncate page numbers on threads. Anyone who wants to read through a large one like the Rossi thread has to be prepared to scroll endlessly to get to the meat. It's basic stuff
Write about nutrition, diet, what they eat professional runners and marathoners during daily trainings and about race day?
How elite fields train?
1. Stop the idiot rant reporting that sounds like Star Magazine and National Enquirer gossip ,yes thats you Letsrun.com guys.
2. Results, can we figure how to get better realtime results after major events?
This is a partly a reporting site not a site of convenience just when you get to it, prioritize.
3. Drop the girlfriend, personal advice threads, these have nothing to do with the sport and its betterment and information.
Make it more like 4chan. Include the chronological post number on top of the post so that people can get "gets"(post number so ending in 69,420,666, doubles (i.e. 55 )triples(i.e.444) , quads, etc.). This will induce a flurry of shitposting, and more ad money for you.
Try to encourage as much debates of things like transgender bathrooms, Donald trump, black lives matter, etc, to encourage more shitposting.
Find a better service than embedly, one without a watermark or anything obscuring it to embed images.
The trick is, unlike 4chan, keep the site "family friendly" to keep the companies buying ads.
What ever happened to that shoe database that the brojos were putting together?
Also it would be great to have to fill out a captcha and a survey before every post. I also would like to see more people posting in languages other than English on random topics like Japanese cartoons and a free country for Kurdistan.

I like that type of reporting on my favorite British runners.
For example:
http://i4.irishmirror.ie/incoming/article6915888.ece/ALTERNATES/s1200/PaulaMain.jpgI agree with getting rid of political threads
One of the features I hope will always remain is the live thread on major races, i.e. World Marathon Majors, World Champs, Olympics, Diamond League. This may be unique in the running world.
I am capable of not opening threads on political issues, so I don't care if they are listed in an opening view.
The first amendment exists here, too, but there are consequences for those who post unsavory comments. Therefore, I favor registration of users. I especially favor registration in light of the treatment of people like Renato Canova, who can enhance the quality of knowledge and love of the sport, by those who name-call and insult while hiding behind a user name.
A convenient archive of great threads would be welcome. Who decides what is a great thread? That's an issue for another day.
An archive of classic races sounds wonderful. When I was coaching, I loved to show the kids youtube videos of great races.
Hello to Malcolm Gladwell. I love your books. But really, this is like the fourth website I come to every morning, not first, unless there was a late night meet in Oregon.

This. Having a section of the website specifically dedicated to accumulating training knowledge from coaches and athletes over the years would be incredibly valuable.
More event coverage and/or streaming of races. If not streaming, maybe you could get video and post it afterward. I'm not sure how that would work with broadcasting rights.
Also, I'd like to see less hot takes. Some of the rants (posted as articles or message board threads) have caused me to drastically reduce the amount of time I spend at this site.
Less racism. Less tolerance for offensive things by the folks who run this site.
I'd also like to see NCAA XC polls and analysis done by LRC staff, not just polls taken of LRC readers. Remember how great the Grote Poll used to be? I'd love to see something like that. Season previews (with updated info on transfers, which people always speculate about) would be great.
More in depth articles, interviews with professional, college and high school runners as well as their coaches. More discussion about D2 and D3 would be great too. D1 coverage is great, but D2 and D3 athletes have interesting stories that I think would appeal to the LetsRun audience. I also loved the article about the women's Olympic Trials 5000 race in 2012 and would love anything similar to that. Really appreciate all of the work you all do to keep all of us track nerds informed!

I know right. People don't think it be like it is, but it do.
The current sub-forums either don't work or aren't monitored very closely to make sure the content matches the topic.
For example, right now if I click on the training sub-forum, its crowded with stuff that has nothing to do with training, or even running. I like the variety of threads on this site, but it would be nice if it were easier to find the stuff I want.
First fix should be preventing the right portion of the posts being covered by the ads spilling over the right border.
thank you
