I was at a funeral for a 44 year old the other day who had died from heart failure (smoked, drank, used drugs, etc.). One of the people who got up talked about how much of a tragedy it was. All I could think about was this wasn't a tragedy, It was an all too predictable outcome. That's what I think about every time one of these rockers, actors, etc. dies young. It's not a tragedy, it is what happens when you: drink, use drugs, smoke, engage in anal sex, etc. People are quick to dismiss religion nowadays, but what people should not be quick to dismiss is the thousands of years of human experience that indicate what lifestyle choices will do to you.
