Nick Symmonds is an idiot that knows nothing about training. If he lost 15lbs he could have had an Olympic medal, but he's too busy in the gym doing bicep curls

Yeah, he must be really clueless since he only won a WC Silver medal and ran 1:42 for 800m. Sad!

She weakens my legs for sure.

He only ran the half
Results show 1:26
I just can’t shake this hunch that at 45 he is going to be about 220 with a paunch and a spray on tan.
It was perfect weather in Eugene for the race. Rain held off until after I had finished. Temps were great. Symmonds talked to the crowd for about a minute before the race, wished everyone good luck. Seemed like a nice guy. Don't know why he only did the half though. With a 1:26 in ideal conditions I doubt he would have broken 3:00. Maybe 3:05 to 3:10. Great to finish on Hayward's track before they tear it down. Quite an experience.

Said he hurt his knee in egpyt (?) like a month or two ago and only recently was able to run again.
anton krupicka 2:18...that is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Anton couldn't run a 5k at 2:18 marathon pace. Not even in his peak

So I was running through podcasts and came upon this gem where Nick Symmonds says he plans on running a marathon in 2018:

I'm thinking a 2:45.
Who is this guy, why should we care, and why does he start posts about himself?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
