Is that a new position? I know Martin was Director of XC and Track and Light was head coach, but I would have thought Light coached the sprints and jumps?
Is it a GA position?

Gavin Kennedy and Erin Dawson forced out by (now fired) Brian O'Neal at Ole Miss.

As a coach I have never had a Kenyan that was not a great student! So not sure about your comment?
He has never had a Kenyan that was under 30 years old, either.

He still has some horses this year and recruited well. Should be just fine.
Job like Florida comes around only once (and for very few coaches) in a lifetime.
Can someone who does one of those rundowns of all the head positions currently open do another post listing them?

Spangler has only bee at Florida for 4 years.
That isn't much of a "lifetime"
I hope every one of you gets acne on your a$holes

The opportunity to coach at Florida comes only once in a lifetime, and for very few coaches, at that.

Really? Did that not make sense to you? Pretty sure he was saying that most people only have the opportunity to coach at a place like Florida once in his/her lifetime. He wasn't saying Spangler has been there "for a lifetime." Just that jobs like that don't come around often, if ever, for most coaches.
I'm calling BS on this one....he's an Adams State grad....came back to where he started coaching....one of the best all-around programs in D2....funded to the max...facilities....reputation....why in the WORLD would he go to CSU-Mesa? 3 GOOD reasons...???

If Florida is the job "of a lifetime" why isn't an alum with rest resume like UNF's Pigg interested?
Cause then it would be the second time in his lifetime at UF...and that's not allowed.
Come on Johhny... You couldn't wear Dumble's Jock strap for a split second! Dave Dumble is the man, and will get things in line at OSU for many years to come! Couldn't possibly find a better hire or person to get things in order. Kelly was a good guy, but just wasn't getting it done at OSU. Everyone knows this... It was his time to step away and let the program now build into something competitive. He did a good job getting facilities going and bringing in Dumble.
It's not BS, and Adams State is not fully funded, although the rest of what you say is true.
Yes, one of my Jr. college buds told me that New Mexico State was down to three people, and he was one of them. Interviews happened last week.
Not fully funded. Light is gone. Pretty good all-around program.
Martin finally got tired of bailing Light's @$$ out. Martin did more true coaching of the sprinters than Light did. All Light did was cause bad publicity for the school and go pick up coach of the year awards that Martin got him. Adams will likely be much better off.
No way will an RMAC school hire Light. He caused too many problems and got in too many fights in that conference.
Whos the fronnt runner for UCLA?
Drake is done mate.
