Yes, the race is legit this year as was said earlier in the thread. The Rodes City Run is held in Louisville every year for the past 25 years. One of the largest 10ks in the nation, with near 6000+ runners/walkers. Pretty fast too. Winner usually in the 30:00-31:00 range with top 10 in the 32s.

Is there a link to the start list? Thanks.
How has Kyle Baker been running? Haven't seen him listed anywhere for quite some time...
1. abdi (if he shows)
2. lane
3. sell
4. graff
5. young
6. briney
7. julian
8. verran
9. rogers
10. morgan
All quality guys and for sure he is usuing it as a training run, but Olympian chaser Gary will be in the top 10. He beats the heck out of all but Abdi in 12k cross country. Is a 10-miler on roads that different?

Kyle's doing okay. With continued good health, you should see his name a bit this year.
I agree that abdi and lane my be the class of the field . Rosario and Stallings could be sleepers for the top 10. Both were right with Brinney over 12k at US XC nats. With Brinney running sub 29:00 recently, he appears to be back and ready to roll. I also like your pick of graff in the top 5 as he always appears to be in the thick of things and shows some quality consistency the past year. It should be another nice race in the USA Championship series.
I was told the old short course was exactly 9.9 - .1 short.
short

That would be true.
Nope. .1 equals 160 meters not 201 meters.
It is what I agreed with. Don't argue. Geesh. I was there.
