The thing is that Alabama could beat Washington by 50 and people would still say they would have no chance in an NFL game. No matter what they do it'll still be the same argument about interior lineman dominating the game and bullying the front 7 for 30 yards per carry. They resort to the interior lineman because the untrained eye can clearly see the skilled players are good enough to play in the NFL out of college (Ohio State rookies--Ezekiel Elliott, Joey Bosa, Michael Thomas, Braxton Miller, Jalin Marshall, Darron Lee, Eli Apple, Von Bell, Taylor Decker, Joshua Perry, Tyvis Powell--maybe two of those guys aren't starting?). It's just a cop out argument that the NFL fan relies on.
Also, the argument about the guys (coaches/players) dominating in college and being busts in the NFL works both ways. Tom Brady was never close to winning a championship as a starter in college yet leads a dynasty with the Patriots and is the best QB of all time. Guys like Russell Wilson and Ben Roethlisberger have also had significantly better NFL careers than college.
