You're a troll, but I'll bite.
Ryan Stender's mile speed isn't that impressive, and his PR in the 3k isn't great. He might be in the top-5 at New England's.
With that out of the way: are there any meets besides Smith scheduled this December? Williams and Amherst didn't impress at the Smith Meet by the way.
Dat Mayo ran 14:26.55 this weekend off XC training. He's going to be a force. Tufts better watch out.
holy sh*t
Amherst you guys are awful people
Does this surprise...anyone?
They're in trouble for crude comments they said to each other? If everyone in the intended audience clearly knew that any jokes were made solely for comedic purposes and had no problem with it, why is there a problem. Lets not pretend that none of us have made comments (especially out of context) that don't reflect or character.
traitors should be burnt at the stake
Come on. You're grasping at straws there. What they wrote was awful and hurtful. Imagine how the women's team feels right now. It's a bad look for the NESCAC.
I'm obviously not sure what the sanctions are going to be, but the administration may follow Harvard and prevent the team from competing in the future, which is a shame for guys like Mo.
The reason that there is an issue is because at least one person in the intended audience felt that those "jokes" were not ok...
It's not like the school was going through their emails. Their team culture made members of their own team uncomfortable, which is a bad thing.
But putting that aside, the emails themselves are objectively bad. I'm sure Amherst is not unique in the quality of their humor, and it's tough for them that they will be scapegoats while others will get away with it, but hopefully the trouble they get in will inspire teams to raise the bar.
Money. No. Problem.
2017. He Arrives.
rat
How many of those guys went into investment banking?
Jon Perlman of Middlebury WILL win the mile this year. kid has the form of a goddess.
^ i heard jon perlman is transferring to Trinity. What is this going to mean for team scoring at D3's?
Who in their right mind would transfer from Mid to Trinity?
heyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I'm backkkkkk
We're finally getting some solid results.
Ben Bosworth ran 4:10.
Tim Nichols ran 8:21.
Peter Hale ran 14:34.
Also, the Amherst mid-D/distance crew is slowly reassembling.
Question for y'all: by how many points will Tufts and Williams lose to MIT? Discus.
We're two weeks away from DIII's and this board is dead. I'm going to make some predictions because I have nothing better to do:
5k: -Deyo, MIT
-Nichols, Tufts
-Chelimo, Colby
-Maloney, MIT
-Anderson, Williams
3k: -Hale, Williams
-O'Conner, Tufts
-Simpson, Williams
-Colaizzi, Williams
-Jacobson, Bowdoin
Mile: -Bosworth, CC
-Serrao, Middlebury
-Folsom, Williams
-Gilson, MIT
-Colaizzi the 2nd, Williams
Williams looks pretty stacked in the 3k. Tufts obviously has two low sticks in Nichols and O'Connor. MIT has strong 5k potential in Deyo and Maloney. This should be a very exciting DIII's. Let's get hyped, guys and gals.
Oh, one more thing: Some of the more innocent members of the Amherst distance/mid-distance crew are racing again. They could play a factor at DIII's yet.
Overall, it looks like it's going to be a down season for NE, or perhaps we are just off to a slow start.
8:21 flat track 3k ain't too shabby though. That's my pick for performance of the year thus far. Sorry Boz
