you can become filthy rich without ever going to school, let alone a good one. lebron james is a perfect example of this. as long as you've got stupendous talent, or an incredible idea, then you can conquer the world.
but for 99.999% of humanity whose education plays the major role in determining their livelihood, the best education usually (but not always) yields the best results.
there is a reason why harvard, yale, princeton, etc are ranked at the top, year in and year out. its because the movers and the shakers of this world go there. the last 3 presidents went to yale, as well as john kerry, and dick cheney (dropped out).
