Pretty much answers the Byrne detractors. In a down year he's able to peak his team to another Big Ten Championship.
Indiana 3 4 8 37 40 (43) (48)

If Indian could get a 4th or 5th man to produce they'd have real good chance at top 10 NCAA
Indiana really needed a 4 and 5.
They went 3-4-8-37-40
Lol oops, didn't see your post.
And if I had two more legs I could gallop like a horse.

3, 4, 8 is impressive but many teams just need a 5th man to produce a much better team result. Just needing a 4th and 5th is not saying a lot. What impressed me the most about the 2014 MSU women's team is they typically had 6 women in front of all the other teams top 5 and MSU's 7th runner was not far behind their 6th. Looking at some of their meets that year MSU would still have won if their 6th runner was scored in place of one of their top runners. Teams seldom have that kind of talented depth. All it takes is an injury or two as we often see.
MSU had a perfect score at the 3k mark. The guy in 1st dropped 75 places over the last 5k. How bunched can these races get?
Is it safe to say that Ohio State is completely irrelevant now in cross country? They come in 8th even with one of their guys finishes 7th? Is the same coach there from post-Gary era?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
