That would be true . . . if it were not inherently false.
The very nomenclature that you use gives away your insecurity. Anyone who uses the term "grammar Nazi" indiscriminately is showing that they are unable or, more likely unwilling, to recognize simple helpful corrections. Further, it is not always obvious that a 'typo' is in fact just a typo.
One example would be the use of 'there', 'their' and 'they're'. It is clear that many on these boards do not understand which to use. If 1/10 of the time and energy that they expend in expressing their rage toward grammar Nazis instead was used to simply learn from the corrections provided by others they would be very well served.
The proper (and manly) way to respond to a grammar correction is to say 'thank you', learn from it if there is something to learn, and move on.
