Former Hogs know how to relay. They get US around comfortably.
Still no official results for the 2nd women's heat. If they had a 9 lane track, then you could always add an extra if something happened...
All 3 American HJ women advance to the finals. Cunningham on her third and final attempt at 1.94 gets through while Lowe and McPherson were perfect through 1.94. 17 total qualified by getting 1.94.
Anyone see the 2nd exchange for St. Kitts & Nevis? The 3rd runner was just frozen and Collins blew by him, and somehow, the exchange happened with the 2nd runner in front of the 3rd!
At least the American women didn't screw up that much...

Considering how lackluster W HJ has been this year that is very impressive that many made auto Q's. Pretty clutch by Cunningham - obviously not her best day but for someone that young to react well to that type of pressure bodes well.
Japan...wow...come on Brojo's, ask the questions...
great job by the japanese winning its semi
in girl shorts, natch
China ran a new AR 37.82 in men's first heat, but Japan in the second improved it to 37.68.

We've started another thread on the 400h:
Are you guys excited for the 400 hurdles? The Irish press corps was going bonkers yesterday. We didn't understand why until they told us in their entire lives they'd never had anyone in a sprint final in the Olympics.
But Thomas Barr is in the 400h final as he won his heat!!

Ashmeade > Asafa > Blake > Bolt
Because Ashmeade ran very poorly. I don't know what happened with him. He didn't even make the finals in both 100/200m.
It's going to be very close between JAM and US, but baton process with Dennis Mitchell always is poor. Contrary to that, Japan and China are the best exchanging the baton.
How come nobody runs fast in this event anymore?
Will Kenya have more medalists in the 400H than in the 5000, or steeplechase?
Culson false starts 400h final.
Oh my
Clement over Tumuti and Copello in a very close race. Top four (Barr fourth) under 48.
Kerron Clement barely holds on for gold!!! I ran that race. The final few hurdles suck. He kicked ass!
What a much deserving gold for Clement.
Guy hadn't won USAs in 10 years. Hadn't won a worlds in 7. and he's back.
Remember when hew as such a massive talent but would seemingly always butcher the hurdles? Not tongiht.
What a high quality affair. Nearly
everyone in the top 6 except for clement PRd!!!
Wow.

Barr ran out of track, should a had bronze. Too much Guinness last night.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
