They're elite athletes, so I don't think it's fully natural. Hasn't WADA or IOC been doing a better job lately? Either way, spectacular performance today.
She beat an obvious doped up Chinese national. You fill in the rest of the story....

Track at the games kicks off with one of the most shameful things I have ever seen.
Ethiopia and Kenya likely sent zero clean athletes to the games.
Congrats to Huddle (clean winner), Infeld, and all other legit athletes in the race.
Up to your old tricks again, huh? Betsy Saina beat Huddle by a few seconds and trains with BTC. I'd put her in the clean category but according to you she's too brown. Pity!
Maybe it's something in the air....

Fair enough but she's also pretty new to the 10,000 on the track.
Same can be said about Ayana
Why do think she is not clean don't be judgmental ! She is still clean even if she dopped we can say until she is positive

Ayana's second 5000 is faster than the Olympic 5000 record.

To be able to demolish the most doped distance record on the books... very, very, very unlikely.
It's 100% suspicious. We know the dibabas are dirty based on their coach getting caught.
It's 100% likely that this is a dirty record and gold.
when your child comes home with 100% mark on an exam do you immediately accuse them of cheating?
Think about what you are saying
...of the debate. Were you guy that was defending the Kenyans years ago against the accusations? If so, why? Who are you working for?
Whether it would have made a difference is one thing but if I was Alice's coach, I would have advised her to wait for Ayana to go to the front then only follow her. That way Ayana would have been forced to push the pace earlier in the race. Alice would have saved herself some energy then help out in the second half of the race. The only difference would probably have been that the finishing times would not have been as fast.

I hope considerable credit is given to Alice Nawowuna for the pace she set in the first half. That was huge in setting the tone for the race and made the WR possible.
That was incredible on so many levels. American record and almost lapped!! WOWza[quote]ekw wrote:

Lost in all this is that the legend Tirunesh Dibaba ran a personal best for bronze !!!
If you had told me last year that Tirunesh would run a PB I would say gold for sure
