Socks are a new pair every day.
Shirts I usually wear about 2-3 workouts before swapping for a new one.
All clothes are washing in a washing machine...
That is disgusting.
After a run, everything goes in a bin. Bin goes in the washing machine weekly. Repeat.
How do you know that is disgusting? Have you been smelling my crotch after I am done running? I end every run straight into the shower, so there isn't much opportunity for it to be gross.
If you take your running clothes off right when you're done running and lay them out so that they dry, you end up with a little sweat on them, but bacteria doesn't have a chance to grow. This allows me to wear them a few times before washing.
Less washing means that they last longer before getting threadbare and getting rips in them.
In the winter, I sweat less, so can wear them more times.
