I am running the Hyannis marathon on Sunday. I'm curious how much snow came down and whether I will be running on clean roads or sidestepping puddles/piles of snow.
Thanks.

I'd say about 6-8 inches in Falmouth, roads are a bit slick, may change by Suday though.
The cape got a lot of snow this weekend, about a foot. I don't think its going to snow any more until monday, so the roads should be clear. You won't be running on snow, but there will be potholes and lots of snow around. Since the course is 2 loops, i think they'll do a good job getting it clear.
Its going to be cold, so there won't be much melting, which is probably a good thing b/c it could be a mess if it melts then re-freezes.
So long story short, don't expect a perfect course.. but they'll clear it off well so you won't have to run on snow and sidestep snow banks. Just be prepared for anything!
Good luck and have fun
I meant week.. not weekend!!
Thank you. If I see Ted Kennedy I will throw a snowball at him.
