Unfortunately…there is a price to be paid.
(Alberto has had over 300 trillion + 2 stupid ideas if you are counting.)
Al has his own thing going on and is a good coach. Dave has a program at Guelph and SR that has been years in the making. His program has an upward trajectory even as he has seen it achieve great results. Just seems to keep getting better.

Taking the term "Olympic participation" to the next level. How many will make finals? Exactly.
Has he ever coached an American athlete up there?
You have defamed the name of the almighty Sultan Salahzar. It is blasphemous. We know who you are and we will hunt you to the end of the Earth. We have the blessings from Imam Capriotti. Salah Akbar! Salah Akbar!
ASal? Rupp for one.
I clicked on this expecting a thread about BTC.
Schumacher is sending 8 (I believe that number is accurate) athletes to Rio. The 7 women plus Jager.

Mo?
Is this the same guy who fixed the national cross country bid, and had his henchmen Chris Moulton fix the Quest for Gold. I wonder how many of his athletes over the years have benefitted from things getting " fixed" for them, to help keep them in the sport and get them to this level.

Same guy. Cheats just like Alberto, pulling any strings to get ahead. I give the guy credit though for his coaching success regardless. But this is the Canadian version of NOP. A lot of top women who go there seem to leave the group inexplicably. They could have had about 10 Olympians if some of these women hadnt left to go to other training groups. Seems as if mostly all the top Candian talent looks at going there.

They are all clean, so none of them.

How many of yours made the team? Except as a snack?

FWIW, although Courtney Frerichs has joined the BTC, she is still coached by Jimmy Butler, her coach at UMKC and UNM. I believe the coaching transition will take place after Rio.

Not taking anything away from Coach Scott, but SRTC and NOP have 2 different mission. SRTC is more of a development program with a few world class athletes and a lot of sub-elites. NOP is not really a development program, it is a program for talented athletes designed to win championship medals and there are no sub-elites.

So now we're all gold medalists able to blast the growing field of Oly participation runs? Maybe these guys should be wearing fuel belts in the heats just to troll you.
It's pretty rare to be an OC. You need to have 1 or 2 of a) tons of natural talent (1x in 3 generations type); b) lots of juice/epo; c) be a man competing as a woman.
My athletes made the US team. Hope this helps.

Yes. Intelligence + hard work = results

So what. Nike uses already developed kids from colleges and youth programs. It's easy for Mexicans like Alberto by the time runners are made great by coaches.
