I have just recently come back from an injury that kept me out for 4-5 weeks. I had an amazing summer of training (20 weeks of 100+) and a solid cross season (24:35 on a respectable course).
This will be my 4th week of 80 miles after my injury. I have been training very hard trying to get myself into decent shape by outdoors. Ealier this week I completed a workout of 20x400 at 69 with a 200 jog (about 55 seconds). I felt good aerobically but my legs were pretty dead from all of my hard training in the past weeks.
I'm going to race a 3k rust buster next week and I was wondering what I may be capable of running based on this workout (I know it's tough with this limited info). My lungs are way ahead of my legs at this point. If you could give me any insight that would be great, thanks.
