This is one endurance workout with a video for all to see....if you regularly follow their training, Mackey always has them doing major speedwork at the expense of endurance training. Hell back in April or May he had them doing 3x400 with 5min rest...a total peaking/predictor workout. I've used the average 400m time from that workout as a 800m pace predictor and it's been pretty damn accurate. If I recall Cas averaged 50.x.....so you tell me if he has the endurance to run 141.x
Phoebe Wright did the same workout with the boys and averaged something ridic like 58.x...and tell me when was the she broke 2:00...
Mackey has them plenty fast. But the above workouts coupled with the results on the track let you know exactly where the problem is.
