Last week while running on some trails, I slipped and landed hard on my kneecap onto some ice. I didnt think anything of it, but now, about a week later, it is very painful to run, especially at slower paces. Last night, I did a track session- and I stuck it out during the faster repeats, but all of my slow-jogging was a constant throbbing pain- which made it extremely uncomfortable.
Today I tried to go out running in the morning, but could only manage a couple minutes before the throbbing became too uncomfortable to run on. It especially is painful when I bend the knee- ie stretching and landing.
any advice/comments?
