Err, because he's British?

"2) You said today that you witnessed him running some six minute miles. I never thought he wasn't a bad runner. He's clearly a good runner, but what I don't get it is if he's running some 6 minute miles then how did he only cover 48.6 miles on the day. I could leisurely walk 3 mph for 16 hours, sleep 8 and still get that many. How did he only do so few miles?"
He ran some roughly 6ish minute single miles, but they've all been followed by stops for aid. At one point he apparently strung a few miles in 6ish minute mile bursts without walking before the next burst, but he did stop at the RV for aid between each, which led to an average pace that was closer to 8 minutes per mile based on the only section of gps tracking that comes close to matching that description this morning.
Right now there are a lot more 15-20+ minute miles than fast ones. And he's been taking more/longer breaks in the middle of the night than he was before the videos surfaced. 40-50 miles of his 65 - 80 mile days were overnight before... so that's a lot of distance lost.

So it seems to me that everyone thinks I should offer a cash challenge he data from his watch. Offer him maybe cash for it to be produced by the time he gets to Indy?? If not, he's clearly a fraud.
Maybe I'll do both. Offer him cash for the reward and buy him a new watch to wear all the way home - that way we know he's not cheating moving forward if Laz can't stay with him.. Is that the best plan moving forward?

I don't think anyone has asked for the film from Colorado. I'll try to figure that out tomororow as well.
rojo = Robert Young?

Another good stretch, and this is showing up from Emporium, KS to Lebo, KS on HWY 50.
Line 1652 to 1659:
38.405042, -96.153943 to 38.404797, -95.871675
15.3 mi in ~96 min (6:15 pace).
Rob was hitching rides in the RV. He did a lot of that until the Asher incident in Kansas.

Cash should be offered for proof of this

Google Maps makes it 128 miles between those two towns. What does the tracking data say about that stint? Anybody who can read that stuff tell us?So 125 miles @ just under 6 minute pace with some peaks at 5,000 feet altitude.

FMD Fred, that's unbelievable, now that 125 miles I really would like to see them release the data on.
Another guy said that is actually for 2 days.
But I would like to see the data on the speed of the climb, then ask Sage Canaday , a 2:15 guy , training uphill in the mountains for ultras, his opinion

Now I wonder why that is?
Tearing it up in KS. This time in BFE:
Line 1565 to 1570:
38.231903, -97.389325 to 38.233061, -97.16604
12.2 mi in ~71 minutes (5:50 pace).

Film at 11:00? wrote:Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but part of the Guiness World Record rules for point to point records state that the support vehicle needs to be BEHIND the runner at all times; pretty sure RY has been running behind the RV and there's video that shows him getting shade protection from the vehicle.
In other words, he might DQd.

I looked and couldn't find anything specific to this challenge. I did find this saying that for a cycling challenge the rider has to be at least 3 vehicle lengths behind any support vehicle to avoid drafting:
http://www.ayearinthesaddle.com/#!the-guinness-guidelines/lz6y9
I also found this general evidence guidelines document:
http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/Images/GWR-Guide-to-Evidence-2016_tcm25-412531.pdfThe part that jumped out at me was where it says "Your video evidence must show the entire record attempt, from start to finish. This is required for all attempts, regardless of how long the attempt lasts." Will RY fulfill this? Can't remember from his video talking about all his (as-yet-unshared) evidence, did they say they're filming continuously?

There have been a lot of predictions on this thread. Think I'll make a couple.
If somebody shows up on the video that Asher is yet to release that fits Rob's description, suddenly the evidence that was initially a key part of the prosecution and supposedly clear evidence of cheating will be pronounced inconsequential.
If Laz says he thinks that Rob is legit, there will be several posts about beards and age apparently nullifying his opinion.
Wow, Andy, you really are a genuine sub-moron, aren't you? (Or, perhaps, just as big a fraud as your colossally-fraudulent friend.)
If Rob shows up on that video, slowly jogging along 15 minutes behind his support van, that will prove that AT THAT PARTICULAR MOMENT he wasn't hiding in the van, pretending he was running.
THAT's what it'll prove. That's not actually beyond your intellectual capacity, is it?
It'll also raise a whole 'nother bunch of really intriguing questions, like:
How the f*** did he end up 15 freaking minutes behind the idiots in his van, just a few minutes after we know he was IN the van?
How did he catch UP to the van, when the tracking shows no stopping and waiting for him?
Why would his idiot colleagues leave him all alone, in the middle of the night, WAY behind his highly-protective 'support' team, on a dark and scary stretch of road, right after they told us they fled in terror because some college kid with a headlamp was attempting to run with them, and they decided it must be Jeffrey Dahmer coming to eat them all?
You know what, Andy? Don't even bother responding.
You've pretty well revealed yourself for what you are at this point.
You're precisely as full of sh*t as your pal Jesus. (Oh, sorry, I mean Rob.)
It's gotta be pouring out of your ears and eyes by now.
The point is that now we know that that is impossible. When you combine the TomTon images with the time and location data from the photos, we know the RV had to have broken down in Bannock almost exactly at 8:19. It's 4.5 hours at most for the journey, and that assume RY left his buddies immediately after getting stuck, and then showered, changed clothes, and ended up sitting by a pool about 2 minutes after he arrived in Laughlin.
After watching this video I am convinced that Robert Young is not a cheater.

Another great run in Eastern CO on HWY 50:
Line 1255 to 1263:
38.089561, -102.593748 to 38.051727, -102.267762
18.2 miles in ~107 min (5:51 pace).
What kind of watch dumps data only every 15 minutes like that kml file??
He needs to be DQ'd now. The jig is up. He cheated, he's a fraud. No daily strava since day 1, running behind the RV, hitching rides while sleeping, impossible distances up mountain roads and in the Mojave Desert.
Post 3000, bitches.
"looby" more like loopy - you're not making any sense.
Think for attempts lasting longer than 48 hours the video record needs to be 10 minutes per 24 hour period.
Seen it discussed on the Ultralist.
