Hello:
I havent taken a week off from training since September of 2003; after that time, I have ran on an average of 80 miles per week. I strained some tendons in my foot in a race last week and have taken off 7 days in a row from running. Should I expect to lose fitness? I have a marathon coming up in March and need to get a long run in next weekend. Would you guys advice it or start back up slowly. The foot has responded to PT and is healing. No fast workouts, just running easy mileage.
