Then truth is out there.
THESE 51 58, 50 57 SPLITS ARE STUPID TO GET THE 800 STANDARD...
Man, OTC tosses talent in the trash like no other group
These men's 800s are turrible.

Over 1:50. He's now worse than his little brother.
That being said, how did his talent go to waste? He was a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AND OLYMPIC FINALIST AND NCAA CHAMPION. HE'S 31. THAT'S OLD for a track runner not named Lagat, Rupp or Farah.
Rojo, I guess you are right. I just see his brother and the sky-high prospects he had in college and feel he could have been better. "Going to waste" was a little too harsh.

No kidding
Are those ski goggles?
"Hoka WON one one"
And not a single guy gets the Olympic trials standard of 1:46...
Robby Andrew's strategy is good against average elite runners but when he runs against the best of the best it never works. He has to realize that he cannot win from way back against the Kiprops and Rudishas. It is not possible.
Roesler is so sexy it's a crime.

Do you really think that Andrews is going to beat Kiprop or Rudisha using some other tactic?
Men's 800. Loxsom had the least in 50.89. Robby andrews was dead last way back. I was like "There is no way he comes back from that." But in the end, it was just like college, a "classic" robby andrews race. He got the win. Nothing special in terms of time. 147.

WAIT A MINUTE. It's pronounced 'oh-nay oh-nay'?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?! Yah got me.
50.x/54.x or 51.x/53.x is the right way to go 1:45. They did not go out too fast.

Of course not. The problem lies in that is tactic likely cannot beat the Americans. Do you think Andrews could outkick Centrowitz like that?

Way to pigeon hole a guy you've only ever seen videos of on the internet
Leave the race strategy and other career-related decisions to his coach and Robby himself
As if Andrews races this way 100% of the time anyways; pretty sure he went after it closer to the front a couple of times this indoor season

It's not. I posted about this already. It used to be that way but it's one one.

First 200 in the fast heat was 23.0, way too fast. While the 400 split was fine, by that time Cas had slowed down so much that everyone bunched up behind him. That's why the final time was slow.
