Surprised by the seeding of heat 1 of the mens 800. Given the USATF press announcement and past performances, I would have expected Greer and Jock in heat 1.

Only 9.5 hours away!

Leo "the hamster" Manzano will win his heat just like last year. 3:35.8.

Is there a meet program with season bests and PR's? I think this would be great to help us learn more about the athletes.

The organizers of this meet don't want PR's and seed times published. That would mean some accountability for the arbitrary start lists that have been concocted.
Oxy used to be about enabling as many athletes as possible to run fast. Now it revolves around athletes that run for certain coaches/groups. -
Please lord in heaven don't let Carrey Tollefson be commentating
-
Do you see any athletes that didn't make the fast heat that should be in there? I don't.

Preach ^^^
Tbh, this is a lot of meets now a days, getting into top meets is more about profile than hard work and working your tail off to get fast time to get into top heats and field for other meets, it's honestly sad -
Which is the fast heat in the 1500m?
-
If you look at the entries, there was no way everyone that deserved to be in the fast heat was gonna get in. Way too many quality athletes. As it is, heat two is a fast heat too.

Johnny Gregorek PR 3:39, 5th 2016 USATF Indoors

Maybe you can justify moving a couple of these guys to heat 2 and moving up a couple studs from heat two but as I said, heat two isn't suffering for competition!! -
There are 2 "equal" heats and one slightly slower according to designated rabbit paces.
