This is hilarious. There are expressions on here I haven't heard uttered in nearly a decade.
'credit to his race' , so insulting all concerned.

************ (insert name of winning NFL, MBL or NBA championship winning team) are WORLD CHAMPIONS!
That's right. The only true world baseball champions are the little league world champs.
How about whenever somebody is like "____ is THE BEST!"
I also hate the phrases "shut up" and "suck it".
"Wardrobe malfunction" (I can't stand this term)
"Pro-life" (But suddenly pro-death when it comes to punishing criminals?? It doesn't describe the position accurately...)
I have a hunch that worst American phrases has now merged with worst American concepts.
Such as "Supersize me, baby"
"Dynasty"
"Diva"
African-American. Are they African or are they American? Which is it?
God Bless America
FOR PETE SAKES!!

"I'll write you" - no you won't. You'll write TO me or you will write a letter.
Or, I could write you a letter. In that case I'll write you (a letter) whenever I have time.
I can't stand it when I watch a basketball game or football game and the announcer goes on about how some guy is the "one of the best in the league at...(insert some obsure statistic here)" ex: steve nash is one of the best players in the league at finding someone to shoot the ball late in the game. what a worthless statement.

From business:

Really? That's news to me. I would've thought that synergy could only be singular. I guess businessmen have never been good with grammar so why start now.
This has been an entertaining thread. My contribution:
I usually always do.....
and the overuse of the work like. It's like stupid!!
Diva has an Italian origin.

Another symptom of some American's short attention span - leaving out words in a sentence.
Another example:
I have to go toilet.
When I grew up, the word toilet was a noun, not a verb. I think in most civilised places in the world (outside of the US of A) it still is.
