Race video??????
Splits? Holusa looked like he ran a 24.x and Robby not to far off that.

Like Lance you mean?
Perfect race from Centro. Really fun to watch.

Did you watch Kiprop at all last summer? Is Centro now a 3:25 man?

Was a great final. Willis did EXACTLY the right thing (finally) and honestly with 80 to go I thought he had it. But younger legs prevailed.
Again Robbie gets a bit caught out. He just doesn't have the savvy of a guy like Centro who just finds himself basically always in the right position at the right time. Between Centro and Andrews there are the tools to win the Olympic final.
But in general the whole event was incredible. Was there all 4 days. Actually who gives a f##k how Eugene got the Worlds in 2021 - this is one of the best places on earth to hold meets - people love it here.
Andrews aren't even close to getting an olympics medal. He needs a 3.30 under his belt for that, not even close.
Doesn't matter, as Kiprop is not a 3:25 man either last I checked.
Actually he is right if you use the official Letsrun definition of what a doper is. Anyone who finishes ahead of Willis in a championship race defines you as a doper.

This is a helpful comment that increases my insight into the race and the sport of track and field in general. Thank you sir.

how's that for the doubters
What doubters?
I was really disappointed to see Willis not hold on for the win. That was such a perfect move.

Right. That's why I said that BETWEEN Centro and Andrews there is the ability. Andrews has that unique ability to really turn on the jets - probably even better than Centro but Centro just always positions himself far better.
Regardless of the fact you can't read - you also clearly don't know what you are talking about - you need to be sub 3.30 guy just to medal right? What like both Manzano and Willis who at the time of their silver medals in the 1500m had not even been close to sub 3.30 - Manzano still a full second away from that as of today.
Immensely talented and a savvy racer. Just hope it's all legit. I trust him for some reason, not Gruppy and AndroAl though.

Same here, really wanted to see Willis get the win. My heart was racing when he made that big move and formed a gap right away. A brilliant strategy that d*mn near worked to perfection.

He ran the 4th fastest indoor mile ever and went undefeated this indoor season...imma say he's good for 328-329. That might be enough unless Kiprop shows up in 326 shape and just blasts from then gun.
Great run for Centro but...
No Iguider. No Makloufi. No Kiprop, no real Kenyans whatsoever.
I hoenstly think Hill's silver is more impressive just because it was against a much better field.

And he'll be a multi-gold medalist and you'll be 40 sitting in your mommy's basement, or your own modest house, whatever. Still bitter and now old (40). I'd rather have the glory and the memories, and also not be so full of loathing. That's just me (and everyone else).
Good job Centro. I hope you are able to find a date (or a hundred dates) now.

And as disappointed as you were, I was equally as pumped to see him not hold on.
