Reese 7.22!!!!!!!!!
I know you guys don't appreciate field events here, but the Pent and Womens long jump were really amazing tonight.
Great entertainment, as the announcer said.

It was Bromell, but the other places aren't certain yet (photo finish). Looks like Powell got silver but it could have been bronze.

I cared. that was awesome.
I give Powell a lot of props for showing up. I was going to given him even more for winning his first world title and then he choked again.
After running 6.44 in the prelims, he got beat in the final!!!

Powell confirmed 6.50 silver, Gittens 6.51 bronze. Bromell 6.47.
He ran 6.44 easy in the heats, 6.44 easy in the semi and then...splat.
And then it was deathly quiet as the American won the so called blue riband event.
Young Gittens was looking left with his head turned last 2 or three strides. If he had not more than a fair chance he would have been up for the silver.
Agree NBC technical failures took away from a great night.
Field events were great with depth of drama. If my math is correct Lake GBR just misses Klurts Junior Multi Record
Yeah, I saw this earlier today. Agreed... she is smoking.

Yeah, she needed to run 2.17.8 in the 800 to break it. Missed out by about 35 to 40 points

shows everyone can sprint.
some guys can't come back very well after heats, which is really powell's problem. not choking.
commentators should take note.
fernando mamede , a 400 guy that learned to run the 10k, was useless after a 10k heat. but what the F would you expect.??? this guy was a miracle, yet they slag him for not being superman deluxe.
at the end of the day, most people in track are not very bright to say the least.
oh well, it is what it is.

They finally decided to sample the products they have been shipping to the rest of the world.
Does anyone have a stream for today? I can't find any again.
For when it starts of course.
watchathletics.com is always the answer. Go there, they will provide you with stream links.
Guys in their late 30's running 6.45.xx...ridiculous. 100% doped to the gills.
W800m heats up in 10 minutes, looking a bit odd without the Russians but never mind we still have Ukraine and Ethiopia.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
