This April will be my 11th Boston. First one was 1982 and #10 was 2007. Just wondering about other Vietnam Vets who are Boston Runners.

Thank you for your service and that is quite the accomplishment... However I do believe you got lost; you are looking for the Runner's World forum, no?
What is your goal time this year, soldier?
I am 66 and qualified with a 4:06. So, anything around that time.
That's actually a pretty impressive time.
Dave, not as mean, not as lean, but always a Marine.
Semper Fi!!

There's is no such thing as a "former" United States Marine!
Not a Vietnam vet, but I lived there for a few months. I was in the central region. I motorcycled all around there. It was often very beautiful. Probably some of the best riding that you could do anywhere at times. I also had a minor crash that thankfully wasn't serious. How much of Vietnam did you see? Have you ever gone back?
Um I remember talking about Vietnam in history class once.
Thank you and congratulations. That is impressive.
