Saw him six times . Met him personally at a Madness concert at the Ritz in NYC around 1980 . Asked for his autograph but denied that he was him . Did not hold against him .
Got Pete Townshend's autograph there . This was about the time of Scary Monsters which PT played on with DB .
Was just researching Iggy Pop and listening to Bowie when I decided to hit LRC and find out ........

I remember a reporter circa 1976 was starting an interview in a NYC building, when Bowie interrupted, "I thought I just saw a body drop" "Let's go out and take a look" ceasing the interview.
Nonetheless, a Titanic loss.
