Thanks for the tip and sound advice.. I have finally reached the 100k mark based only on endurance and on single runs.. Next week we shall start the doubles (3 x)
Unfortunately I went on a 3 week vacation which brutalised my shape as I got unwell in the process due to the very cold weather conditions.
Having said that, last week I ran this session:
10 x 400m in 72" with 75" standing recovery
10 x 200m in 32" with 45" standing recovery
One thing I am suffering is to go run long and slow (my mind is playing stupid tricks on me, telling that I am going for a 1,500m run and not a 10k/half marathon) so why run circa 15k daily.. I need to get over this mental issue ASAP as it is effecting my overall happiness as an athlete.
For next week, I have planned a 1k time trial on the track with spikes on.. Will keep you updated on how it goes.
