I don't think this is their actual workout. You could see how little they were being challenged on the planks. Even more you could see that they weren't being challenged on the arm stuff. This is the work of Runner World. They're certainly aiming this information at an older and less fit audience. I would expect Evan would incorporate this kind of stuff into his routine, but he might perform 3 or more circuits of it with added resistance. On top of that, he is likely squatting a bar with his body weight or more on it. Likely the same for Emily Infeld. The pros are very strong. Weight training is often an ingredient that isn't strongly incorporated in college that athletes can benefit from once they turn pro, especially considering they are fit enough to handle the extra stress.
