How can anyone watch that and not be a Rupp fan? He acted EXACTLY as you'd hope an American would. He was graceful in defeat, yet elated and proud of his achievement. Look at the excitement on his face for himself and Mo on the slo-mo replay and tell me that isn't someone worth rooting for.

Winnipeg and I'm still searching for an answer to the second question. I did check though and it actually only averages -20 Celsius for the coldest months of the year.
