Interesting thread.I agree with agin that very, VERY few folks ever return to that kind of peak form after long, nagging injury bouts. Statistically, it simply doesn't happen. That saidWhat is he currently doing? Well, in their last matchup, he handed Mo a defeat. Before making excuses about him outsmarting Mo, or whatever, tell me who else would've beaten Mo in that race? We know Mo is a good HM runner, yet Bekele controlled that race. Not Mo. Bekele then went on to run a damn impressive marathon debut. He may not get back in to 12:37 form, or 22:17 form, but we know he has the aerobic capacity to run well, and has the savvy to beat Mo, and he has the confidence, something most of Mo's competitor's don't seem to have.I'm not sure it's as simple as "Mo can beat anyone" at all --- no more so than "Bekele ran 12:37"

Wish people would stop bringing up what bekele did a long time ago. The only relevant data is what he is currently doing. Currently Mo is the man to beat. I would Guess Bekele could get back to being competitive at 10000 again but he is likely to get beat by some of his own country men and A few other guys out there. While we would all love to see him back in the form he use to be in, it's not going to happen.
