I know the athletes in their current stable (Jenny Simpson, Brenda Martinez, Emma Coburn, etc.), but I was wondering about historical greats who were sponsored by New Balance.
Dick Beardsley and Pete Pfitzinger are the only great runners of the 70s/80s/90s that come to mind.
Any thoughts?

I ran Elby's 20k in Wheeling, West Virginia in 1989 or 1990 and it was sponsored by New Balance. I believe Ed Eyestone, Steve Spence, Mark Curp, Steve Taylor, Don Janicki ran, all sponsored by NB. I too ran for NB, no salary, but was technically sponsored as were several other guys on my level.

You mean I actually got the spelling of Lisa Larsen-Weidenbach correct. I thought it was i before e, except ... Anyways, I think she was a Saucony athlete for a good part of her career.

Yes you did. She married Bill Weidenbach, who ran the MI (out-of-state) state record of 8:53.0y for the HS 2-mile.
And, yes, she was a Saucony athlete for a time.
