CU had two big off days (Saarel and Moussa), who were both top 10 (?) last year.
If Joe Rosa runs a below average race and finishes like top 35, Stanford would win.
If Joe Rosa finished 35th, Stanford would still have lost by almost 30 points.
Saarel moved up 19 spots in the last 2k. That's not really having an off "day". He ran to his fitness. Pearson losing 10 spots in the last 2K is what hurt CU (along with Moussa).
