So i raced about 3 weeks ago, I felt amazing and ran a 16:52.
We took the next weekend off from racing bit still practiced.
The following week at our conference meet, I felt awful, it was freezing cold, I ran a 17:25. Course has 2 big hills.
We started to taper this week, district race(at the same course as our conference meet), it was really windy, I felt awful, after the first mile I died, despite my first mile being only 4 seconds faster than the previous week. Ended up running an 18:08.
Why the hell am I getting so slow? Any input would be appreciated
