Hallo, I am a highschool athlete, 17 years old. My items are 400m hurdles, 400m and long jump. I am 1.72 metres tall and my weight is 61kg. I gym about 3 times per week and do excersizes such as lunges, hamstring curls, calve raises, squads, bicep curls, deadlifts, hip extensions, ab excersizes, etc. (Everything with quite heavy weights, 3 sets and about 15-20 reps). I really like gyming to keep my body in shape but people told me that I will get to heavy for the 400m hurdles, is it true ? What excersizes should I do to benefit with my athletics ? An opinion will be appreciated.
