Wait so are you saying he married his older sister? So they have an incestuous family?

FYI - Bridget is Josh's older sister. I haven't directly met them, but I ran with their parents at BGSU back in the day. Good people, the Franeks.
My mistake. I was there and overheard someone mention that they were married, so I assumed it was true. Thanks for the correction.
Also, I would love to see LetsRun sponsor a Kenyan to run at an OCR championship race next year. Several of the series run their championship on back-to-back-to-back weekend, so it'd be interesting to see how a Kenyan would fare at Warrior Dash, Spartan Race, OCR World Championships, etc. My guess is they would be top-3 at Warrior Dash but struggle to be top-15 at the other ones.

Do you think when McAdams toed the line and saw King, that McAdams was like "oh s**t"
naw, I think mcadams was like "well, looks like I'm making ten grand today"
Bob, is that you?

What about this is difficult? I see a bunch of fatties walking a 5k struggling w/ obstacles children wouldn't have trouble with. It is embarrassing how out of shape the general population is. This just looks like another reason for people to get drunk.
Our old buddy Hobie Call finished in 4th.
Guess he just used this as a training run in his Sub 2 hour marathon quest. Anyone knew if he wore his weight vest during the Warrior Dash?

Has anyone seen Kimber Mattox and Jenny Simpson in the same room?
It doesn't prove he's the toughest. Just the biggest attention and road h*re chasing a paycheck.

I may sponsor a Kenyan to the Warrior Dash next year. It would be fascinating to see. I think they'd get destroyed by Max.
The "toughest runner in the world" but any Kenyan is a worthy challenger?
What would this prove? anything?
He pinned a number to his bare chest? Really?
I'm not knocking Max he is obviously quite a character but you are making him out to be a Paul Bunyan or something.
I am most impressed by his 39th in the World Cross. I would say for sure that he was the 39th toughest cross country runner in the world in 2011.

Isn't that what the Kenyan marathoners are? They just happen to be reall good at 26.2. King is really good at runnng events where there is no rhythm (steeple, obstacle races) but the steeple is too short for him. Not a speed guy.
I'm pretty sure he'd destroy an elite African in a Warrior. Think about it. Mo Farah would beat him by a minute max in a 5k. The race takes 27 minutes so all King has to do is bet him by a minute on the obstacles.
Kenyans HATE getting wet. True fact. A little mud on their legs no problem, but full immersion freaks them out.
And snakes. RIght before the race, Max just needs to casually mention the snake he saw out there and there will be a Kenyan DNF, guaranteed.
6/7 were steeplers. Thomas Morgan ran under 9:00 at Kentucky
Lol, warrior dash is for pu$$ies. Wake me up when he competes in the CrossFit Games.
But I bet he doesn't have the balls to do CrossFit.
Jack of all trades? Seriously, he gets smoked in every mountain and trail event he enters then wins a weak obstacle course race against washed up runners and he's now somehow a jack of all trades?? Get outta here
He didn't even compete with the top guys in the trail world both nationally and internationally nor did he do anything in XC. A jack of all trades gets it all done in relatively short time frame. Max is chasing easy paychecks, I don't think it's dumb but definitely doesn't warrant calling him versatile
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
