Conley is a great guy and the work he/runtex does in organizing the event is absolutely second to none.... helpful indeed. And while I am sure he knows the course inside and out, I am going to stand with my earlier comments on the course. I've run a few miles in my time, and I know the area/course well. The last hill (both up and down) at the 25mile mark is a hill... but on a normal day you wouldn't think twice about going right over the thing. The main thing is to KNOW that the first 13 is predominantly a gradual downhill, with the remainder of the course being a net 0 (with a couple of rollers). If you struggle, it's because of the 26, not the hills - if you catch my drift.
