For me, has to be O Holy Night, the Michael Crawford version especially.
And Ray Conniff's X-mas album is my favorite holiday CD.

Got a Mel Torme album that I challenge anyone to dislike.
Dominic the Donkey!
"santa claus goes straight to the ghetto" by Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg off the Deathrow Christmas album
Andy Williams "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year"
BK Holiday
"2000 miles" (either version - Coldplay's or The Pretenders' - is great)
"Christmas Song" by Stevie Wonder & India Arie
Traditional: "In the Bleak Mid-Winter" (Gustav Holst arrangement)
Modern: For some reason, I'm partial to "Santa Baby"
Vic Damone's "Christmas in San Francisco" and Tim Hockenberry's "Christmas by the Bay." Pure schmaltz, but theyre excellent--as far as schmaltz goes!
Wonderful Christmastime - Paul McCartney
"Father Christmas" by The kinks...it's one in which mean little kids mug him
John Lennon "So this is Xmas?" It perfect because it focus' Xmas as the end of the year and makes you reflect on "what have you done?" Have you wasted the last year, were you an asshole to a bunch of folks? Did you accomplish anything?
It's a great song. (except for Yoko yuck.)
I think Lennon's title was "Happy XMas (War Is Over)"
Blue Christmas, by the King. Without a doubt. Oooh-we-oooh. Oooh-we-oooh.
the one Cheech and Chong did
"there's too much recession, man"
"you mean REPRESSION"
"yeah, that too"
"I dig that, man"
LOL.
Yeah man that dude couldn't play anything.
The 12 Pains of Christmas
a classic
Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy - by David Bowie and Bing Crosby
AD/DC's version of Silent Night. Man, Angus was really screaming on that one.
I have to agree I love Oh Holy Night, not sure I have heard the Michael Crawford version though, I heard it sung recently by a High School choir and it was quite literally heavenly :o)
