Is it easy for 17 & 18 year olds to get into bars and clubs in Canada. it is in England wondering if it was true for Canada also?

Not as a general rule, no. Maybe a little easier in Quebec, but generally pretty tough across most of the country unless at 17 you look 35.
Seems pretty easy where I'm at, right on the American border with Ontario. I've dd'd for my brother and his friends who are all in the 18 year old range. None of them were even asked to show id.

Well, in about half of the provinces, 18 is the legal drinking age, so yes, it's pretty easy there.
This question is pretty weak. Obviously, it depends on the bar/club/whatever. Back when I was 18, like in 1954, I got shut down trying to go to a club in Vancouver... but then again, I easily got into a club in Seattle the next week...
I say make the road trip and get boozing!
I'm sure things haven't changed much since 1954. Where'd you go?
there used to be this great club at the Queen Elizabeth hotel in Montreal, many years ago it was called "Altitech
'77" and I have no idea if it is still open
What's the deal with weed in Canada?
I've heard that you can now possess an ounce with no law being broken. Is it still illegal to buy and sell it? I've also heard that Canada may actually go the way of Netherlands with cafes that sell the stuff?
As far as I know, it is still illegal here. Some police may not charge you for carrying a small amount but that is their choice, not a law.
-Vicent: It's legal to buy it, it's legal to carry ... but that don't matter, 'cause if you get stopped by a cop in Amsterdam, it's *illegal* for him to search you. I mean, that's a right the cops in Amsterdam don't have.
-Jules: Aw, man, I'm goin', that's all there is to it, I'm f***in' goin!

Vincent: You dig it the most, baby. You dig it the most.
