I'm going to hazard a guess that the old woman is still walking in from the 10 mile race that started an hour before the marathon did. If she started in Corral 4 of the 10 mile, she'd have started about 35 minutes before the marathon start, meaning she would have been walking ~20 minute miles the whole time.
I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and guess that they didn't actually cross the start line so the results site is just giving them a gun time - the same timing company forgot to turn on a bunch of chips at a HM I ran 2 years ago and we were all originally marked as crossing at the gun. Then the two of them hopped on the course late with a number on so they wouldn't be kicked off the road, and walked it in with the old lady.
I too think he walked with his Grandma in the 10-miler. Going down a rabbit hole, I hope there aren't many folks that do this considering liability concerns of entering one race and participating on a separate course. (Benefit of the doubt says he asked permission to walk in the event he did not register for.)
The thing that seems inconsistent (or consistent depending on your point of view) is the missed split time in his marathon result in the spring. There are no signs of Grandma there. Yes, he could have just walked the half marathon with a full marathon bib, I understand that.
