I swear in the last month I've met three people named June who were all Asian.

Seems strange. Don't know.
Are you sure it's not "Joon"?
Trust me, it's a lot better choice than "April".
Are they Korean? The choice of official names is very limited.
Common Chinese name is Jun, sounds like June.
Half the world's people are Asian so the odds of that happening are about 1 in 8. Unusual but not remarkable.
Because they can't say February?

You make me raff!
There are actually a lot of Asians named April and May (sometimes Mae). Who knows why.
2 Polish guys at our gym named Rolf. That is strange.

It doesn't make sense.
It's a really common Korean guy's name—Jun, Joon. It's like meeting three white guys named Mike.

So 1 in 4 Asians are named June? Reread what you wrote.

half of all people are Asians
Junes are people
=> half of all Junes are Asians
=> p(June is an Asian) = .5
=> p(all 3 Junes are Asians) = .5^3 = .125
some of this might be invalid but not the part you pointed out.
I know in Tagalog(main language of the Philippines) Jhun(pronounced "June") means Jr.
